Last Day of Year 2009

Today is December 31, 2009. Last day of the year.

Looking back, a lot of wonderful things happened this year despite of all the trials, calamities and hardships. I still thank God for all the blessings He gave me and my family. It wasn't a smooth road to take, but it became easy cause my family and I took it together. It wasn't all happiness and triumps but I am still thankful we are all well and healthy.

I'm really looking forward to another year. I do not know what 2010 holds for me, but I know with God's guidance and grace everything will be alright. Me and my family and the friends around me are all in good hands :)

People should learn how to say 'thank you'

'Tis the season of giving and sharing. Christmas is not only about parties and going to church, most people wait for Christmas because of the gifts they will receive. Some may get one, some may not. But what I can not understand is that, people who gets gifts instead of appreciating it, they complain. I really hate that kind of attitude. Instead of saying thank you, why do people complain? Why not show appreciation so that the person who gave you the gift would be happy.

It's really annoying how people always complain. A few of the people around me are like this, that's why even though I know it's bad, I often think twice before giving gifts specially to those people who always complain.

Well, like what we all know. Every person in the world have different personalities, even though I have people around me who can't appreciate things, I also have people who appreciates little things. :)

Let's all be happy! Damn those who can't appreciate, it's their lost anyway ^^

I don't understand...

Something came up a few days ago, and I was so pissed off. But surprisingly I was able to contain myself and stopped the urge to burst my anger. That is really an achievement for me, since I'm the type who can not stop herself to talk and get into an argument or even a fight.

The only reason I could think why I was able to contain myself is because of three things. First, I wanted to enjoy the day and savor the moments, second I ignored the situation and lastly, I chose to be HAPPY :). I think everyone should do the same. I know it's super irritating when you're having fun and something distracts you. Something makes the whole atmosphere awkward and irritating.. But somehow, if we choose to be happy and ignore things like that.. everything goes well. Like what I always say to myself, as long as you are not doing anything bad, be happy. You can not let these things get into you, cause in the end, you'll become the biggest looser. :)

So at the end of the day, everything went well. I was happy and I enjoyed everything.

But on a side note, things like that shouldn't happen again. Cause I promised myself, even though I chose to be happy and tried to ignore everything, I still deserve a nice treatment.

The other side of me....

  Other side? Am i crazy? Do I have split personalities?? Gosh! Ofcourse NOT! hahaha

  For those people who knows me well, know how I love Kpop. Kpop is short cut for Korean POp. Recently my favorite girl group won 6 awards 2 of which are major awards, ARTIST OF THE YEAR and SONG OF THE YEAR. That is from the First ever Melon Music Awards. A music award solely based on ratings, downloads, streams and votes from fans. They also got 2 awards from Golden Disk Awards, Koreas version of the Grammys. From their they won Song of the year and other minor award.

The girls I'm talking about is Korea's Favorite Girl group -  
GIRLS' GENERATION (Sonyuhshidae).

These girls have gone through a lot. From hard trainings, descrimination and humiliation. But they've battled them all together. Now they already got what they truly deserve.. RESPECT and AWARDS!

I'm so happy and so PROUD of them :)

This year is truly GIRLS' GENERATION YEAR. We fans call it.. THE POWER OF 9 :)

December 16 - Start of Simbang Gabi

 Today is the start of Misa De Gallo or Simbang gabi. My parents and siblings went to hear the mass and I stayed at home because of work. To be honest, I really can't remember when 's the last time I attended  simbang gabi. Because of the nature of work I have, I couldn't attend dawn masses.

 Anyway, I know most of the people who attends mass believes that completing 9 days would fulfill all their wishes. But let us not forget, that simbang gabi is not about granting wishes. It is a preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ, and also a great opportunity to thank God for a wonderful year despite of all the challenges and circumstances everyone has encountered.

 So to everyone who goes to mass, thank God for all the blessings you have, may it be little or big :)

Today is also Marky's bday. Friends4keeps resident Surfer in the USA :)
